Bat Man!

Well, my husband is a very very avid hunter!! Last night me and my mom were still doing apples - - yes I'm very tired of apples-- but we were apple saucing apples and Chet, who was supposed to be helping do apples, came running in the house, grabbed my shotgun all excited and ran out the door! I ran out after him to see what he and my brother were shooting-- it was ooh about 9:00 at night and dark? So what can they see? I go outside and watch as they stand there looking up at the trees in my yard? What are you shooting-- no response-- suddenly a freaking bat comes swooping by and about gets me - - ok not as close as I think - - but I hate bats-- I'm ok with alot of things, but not bats-- they are like flying mice and they stick in your hair and bite you!! (I'm sure of it!) So yup they are trying to shoot bats!! I go in, not interested in this hunt at all! Then I hear boom boom-- I go out to see what they got-- they got the tree is all-- bats are like trying to shoot humming birds-- to fast and to small to do!! -- which is good I found out- - I was telling my bosses at lunch today about shooting at bats-- I guess there is a $10,000 fine per bat -- what the hell? They are flying mice-- I shoot mice all the time-- why not a bat?
