Then Saturday we started in on making Apple Pie in a Jar!! Its delicious-- basically its apples pie filling like you'd buy at the store, but its homemade and delicious! I got a new apple peeler corer contraption-- and I love it!! Its great even if you weren't doing stuff, if your kids don't like apple peels-- its a snap!! 2 seconds to cut up peeled apple!
What a lovely picture huh!! Geez I look fatty in that picture! Icky any way! This is late in the evening and I'm tired and dirty! But there is my apple peeler!!!
My mom was tired too!!
We got through 2 bushels of apples, and ended up with 50 quarts of our All American Apple Pie in a Jar!!
We finished up around 10:30 p.m. Wehw! What a day!
Now we get to do it all again tonight! 2 more bushels-- we'll make some applesauce tonight too!
Oh and to top it off-- we also did 10 pints of beans! Yup -- I know what you are thinking-- the next Martha Stewart!! And you an all say you knew me when . .!!

what a good little blogger you are, even with the "fatty" picture :) you could give your apple pie in a jar for christmas and not have to think of an end of the world present for everyone!
