What a cute little family. This is my niece and nephew, Garrett and Hannah. These are my sister Jodi's kids. I love them to death!! I try to spend alot of time with them, so they know who I am and like me best!! Don't they look nice and harmless! Well They've Gotten bigger!!
Still super cute and appearing harmless!! Well I told my sister I'd watch them for the weekend while they went to my cousins wedding in Salt Lake, not a problem I think to myself!! I've babysat before!!
So I arrive on Friday at Jodi's house -- cuz well its just easier to do stuff at their house-- their things are there, they aren't touching my stuff!!:) Jodi warns me -- and I'd heard before - - that Hannah's new thing is that when she poops she takes off her diaper and dumps it in the toilet-- helpful yes, but makes a mess!! Ok, I'll watch that!! So Friday goes great, they eat gret, I was very suprised that little kids like Tortelini !! Saturday me and Chet had planned to meet my brother and his family at Green Canyon for some swimming! That was soo much fun-- really the kids were being great-- I was feeling pretty good about my parenting skills-- except for Hannah getting root beer up her nose-- Sorry Hannah!! Driving and Drinking never mix!
We get home from swimming and had a while before we were supposed to meet Chet's familly for his birthday dinner! So we went to Sportsman's Wearhouse to browse!! Me and Garrett and Hannah were upstairs looking at tents and the kids were both being suprisingly good-- for as tired as I think they were!! Hannah was being very good and playing in a tent - - me and Garrett and Chet were looking at another tent -- I told her come on-- lets go! Ok she says-- and comes walking out of the tent bare butt!!! EEK-- she has her diaper in her hand and says I pooped-- Yup -- I run for her just as she takes the huge terd (seriously kids have huge poops I don't know how that works!) and dumps it in the door of the tent!! EEEk!! I give it a quick fling back into the diaper, pull her pants up grab her and run outo f the store!! Garrett and Chet are rolling on the ground laughing and Garrett is announcing to the store what just happened!! I could have died!! Luckily it was huge and hard! Aren't kids Fun!! The rest of the weekend went pretty good and they really are good kids-- but me and Chet decided after our test drive -- that we would not buy-- and continue to lease when needed!!
