So it was the first summer after we got married. We were laying in bed one night and the dog starts barking -- barking a bark like someone was outside! So Chet grabs my shot gun-- which lives by the bed! And goes to check it out -- I lay in bed terrified waiting for a gun shot-- I hear one-- holly shit! Here comes Chet back into the house-- I asked him who was it? He said its a skunk-- oh -- get the lantern -- get more bullets. Ok, ok, so I get up grab a lantern - - grab some more bullets. I go running outside-- the skunk is in teh corner of the yard -- and Chet's trying to get a good look at it I'm holding the lantern out-- and holding all my shot gun shells!! Not to bad right-- well we're doing all of this stark ass naked!! Yup not a stitch-- no shoes, no shirt, not nothing! Good thing we don't have neighbors close by huh! Even now when I think of it-- I'm sure it will appear on a Far Side Calendar at some point!! What can I say! REDNECK!
Well this year we've shot alot of skunks fully clothed! Sunday morning we had one in our skunk trap!! (I know bad idea to trap a skunk!) So Chet was just gonna shoot it and be done with it!!

Chet is trying to figure out how to get a good shot-- hmm-- should I climb the grain bin? Nope bad idea!
Take aim and shoot! Make sure you hit the head!
Annie is making sure its dead-- but keeping a safe distance!
I asked Chet now what do you do with it? How to get it out of the trap?
