Potty Animals

Porter has been hanging out at Kara's house- playing with Karston who had great success with the three day potting training process!!  I was hoping it would rub off on Porter- who really wanted nothing to do with the idea-- looks like it has--

Porter started wanting to sit on his potty and watch his Elmo Potty DVD- but nothing ever made it into the potty although- he would always stand up and say "Yay Porter" and show me the "pee"

Kara and Karston came out on Monday night-- the 15th of August (2 weeks away from his 2 year old birthday) Kara being the excellent planner she is- had brought Karston's potty with- so she got it out- and both boys sat down to watch a show- and they both peed- I didn't even react when Porter said  "yay Porter"- but Kara looked and sure enough there was pee in there-- HOoray - he did it!!!!

He was stoked!! I think i was more excited-- I called Chet right up!!! silly the things that make me smile!!!

Yesterday -- Wednesday 17th of august-- Chet was home with Porter all day - and they were having great success with putting the pee in the potty --

Porter wanted to poop on his potty -- and I got this text from Chet- I about fell off my chair at work- I was laughing so Hard I almost didn't get my pee in the potty!!

Text from Chet :


" Porter just tried to poop  on his potty then stood up and ran across the kitchen  leaving a shit trail the whole way Ha ha"

I about died-- I texted back-- I'm glad I'm not coming home after work- and i wasn't I was going to pick huckleberries!

But Porter is doing well today OH it would be nice to be done with the diaper phase!!!  I don't want to grow him up too fast- but there are rules to going to hang with Grandpa- and they include being able to pee in the potty -- or the field-- and being able to eat a hamburger and fries- he is soo close!!  Get ready Grandpa!!
