730 Days Old! - The Hair Cut

It is true- my baby - my tiny precious baby turned 2 this weekend--

Where has time gone? I try to hold on to the little baby in him- but he insists on being big- he says "Porter's a little Guy" which cracks me up- -but still - where is my baby?? Luckily he still will snuggle me!!

So this Post could be incredibly long- but I think I will break it up - to a more managable smaller segments- "bite size" pieces if you will.

Lets begin with The Hair  Cut-- Like I said- I have been holding on to my baby for dear life-- an in so doing- I had never cut his hair- he had beautiful golden locks-- that curled at the end-- OOh how I loved them- and POrter liked having ponies in them- heheheh-- But we decided that at 2 we'd cut them-- we had prepared for 2 weeks- I'd "cut" Porter's hair every night- by wettingi t- and combing it- and running a pair of scissors over his ears and forhead- then running the clippers around his neck and cheeks so he was used to the tickle!!
I still was anticipating the worst struggle in history _ Me and chet had decided that- I'd video- while he wrangled and subdued the angry beast--

I had talked to a photographer - and she (Hillary Briscoe Photography) graciously agreed to my hair brain idea- of splitting his 2 year old pics- to one day with long hair- and then another session after his hair was cut-- so I'd have memories and good pictures of his long lovely hair!!! (She is amazing- check her out!!!)

So after pictures on Friday (the 26th) we went to get hair cuts- Porter was all ready-- he was going to "Holly's House" to "Get Hair Cut"-- and was stoked!!!

Flipping through Red Book- waiting his turn!!  Look at that length!!!

 Porter's turn- here we go- say good by to those lucious locks!!

He was first up- and she sat down the booster- and he got right on-- wow-- I told her-- do whatever you can- she had much more confidence!!- She put the fishy cape on- and got out the clippers- he didn't even twitch-- seriously - he was soo good-

 Mowhawk Man!!!

She gave him the cutest little boy hair cut spikey thing ever!!

I had to laugh to keep from crying- as she lobbed off my babies curls- but I kept them -- I made Chet video it- and as soon as I can figure it out- I'll upload it--!!

But he looks like a different little boy-- he looks old- and his eyes look huge!! I love it- !!

What a cute little man -in his New birthday Jammies!! He loves to get gel in his hair- and tells People about Holly cutting his hair- too cute!!
