Sammy
Sad news at my parents' house. Sammy our 12 year old dog, died yesterday. She was just too old! Its very sad to lose an animal-- they become part of the family, and in my mom's case, I think Sammy was like another kid for her. She was just as picky in what she ate as all of us kids were, and my Mom, being the great mom she is catered to Sammy as well. Making sure her potatoes had all the toppings, even salt and pepper, and making sure her waffles had syrup. NO one likes a dry waffle!!
Sammy was part German Shepherd and part Chow. Funny looking dog, but wonderful! The grand kids loved to play with her (most of the time!) and she loved any one to play with her. She will be missed!

oh, so sad for sammy. 12 years is a good long time for a dog.
