Water Head

Each day -- Porter spends at least 30 minutes- if not more-- at the sink-- eating bubbles - washing dishes- - whatever- playing in the water- he loves it-- and it doesn't bother me to bad- now that he's figured out how to keep most of the water in the sink- not running along my countertop or across the floor!!!

You gotta love the boys flare for design!! -- Bright red nails (For christmas! - although his nails were actually green for Christmas - to match his green shirt!) -- and the awesome Green and blue hat!! -- and Train undies!!!

So yesterday as I was walking out the door in heels into the snowy weather- Chet was carrying Porter out for me- and I tripped (snagged my heel on my pants!) -- I didn't fall- but chet said -- "Ooh if you'd have fallen I'd have to fall Water Head on you"--  and it was left at that--

Half way to Jodi's house- Porter looks over at me- and asks- "Why do people have water in their heads?"

I laughed and tried to explain- that if people do silly or not smart things (I tried to not use the words idiot or stupid) -- then someone might say they are a "water head" --

He tells me -- "I have water in my head!" - I said no you don't you are very smart --

He said - " Nope I have water in my head -- I  can hear it sloshing in there" (as he is shaking his head!)
Then he said the sweetest thing-- == "Daddy doesn't have any water in his head -- he's very smart" -- aah!!

Now if he can remember that when he's older !!
