Yesterday was my first day back- and I have to say it was hard--
Saturday night- I cried -- and Porter caught me-- which made him sad - oops!!
Sunday night -- I cried harder-- and Porter caught me-- we were watching a show in the dark- I thought he couldn't see-- which made him cry -- ooh no! He kept asking me why I was sad- all I could come up with - was because it was raining-- I don't want him to associate me and going to work with being sad!!
Monday morning-- well it didn't go well--
Chet got sick-- he was going to take the kids to kara around noon-- so I thought I would get out of that- painful-- goodbye for the first time -- but since he was sick- I wasn't leaving Big and Little with him-- so I scrambled and thanks to Kara for being soo sweet and willing to accommodate my crazy life!! --I made it to work on time-- and didnt' cry!!
After feeling like a fish out of water for the first 45 minutes- I settled in and was fairly productive!!
Its amazing what you can accomplish when you get up and put pants and a shirt on! Wow!!!
The kids were great- and I never worry when they are with Kara-- I don't think she put Paige down all day long!!
So I have alot to catchup on- and I will
But didn't want to forget the current stuff happening too!!
See - how cute my babies are-- they weren't scathed at all by me going to work-- they are tougher than me!!!

you are all so tough for you to go back to work. but it's still sad after having so much good time with them.
I am so sorry it was hard. I remember when I had to go back when Karston was 3 weeks old to do training I cried forever and I knew I wasn't going to be working forever but it was still hard to be away from his little face for the few hours I was. I sure love my Porter and Paige. We had so much fun and YES you were right I didn't put her down unless it was to change her bum! Love you all oodles looking forward to Saturday to do it all over again!!!!!!!
