OCD- and Other Funny Things.

I do believer Porter has some OCD in  him!! 

Or Maybe its just a sign of an unusually long winter!

Saturday - was a beautiful warm sunny day -
Me and Porter were heading out to go some where--

He insisted on having his coat on- and zipped

Then when I got him in his car seat- he quickly pulled on  a hat! Now we're set! off we go!

Silly Baby!

At night - the same (basic) routine has to be followed-

Everyone has their places for prayers- and don't sit in the wrong place-

or you will be told- other one-  (means move your butt mom!)

Lately he does the funniest thing-

He sleeps in the big bed- which has been going fairly well-- he does get out occasionally - but goes right back in!

But getting to sleep is sometimes hard- I'd get him settled- and lay by him for a minute- then he'd ask for something- usually marshmallows-- and I'd tell him - ok- I'll be right back!

Now guess what he tells me

Right back- gets off his bed and goes and putters around in the living room!! Silly baby!

He likes to shake hands and say Hello

He can now say his name and loves to do it!!  He narrates everything- Porter's Jammies - Bo's Jammies - Mommy's Jammies.

A couple  of weeks ago- a friend came and stayed the week with us- his name is Rob- Porter insisted on calling him Dunn-- Ok- Rob was fine with that- and responded well to it.

So at night - me and Porter lay down and go through the list of people that love him- Gramma, Grampa, etc.-- he will sometimes chim in with another name- or just agree- but the other night- we were going through the list- and he said- -- and Dunn- Well he does have a spectacular memory that baby -- so now every  night - Dunn is included!
I am just loving this stage- he is trying soo hard to say and do everything and be soo big- but he has his OCD Moments- and they just make me laugh-!!
