We've just been surviving this cold Idaho Spring-- Porter wants to play outside all the time- and want to curl up in front of the fire and roast-- so we try to do a bit of each persons' preferences!
Porter doesn't mind the wind- I hate the wind--
Porter loves the mud- I could do without it!
Porter loves the Shop and would spend all day in there!!
But that is what is soo great about seeing the world through a toddlers eyes- everything is new and fantastic-
He has started saying Awesome lately - and it comes out soo funny!
For the longest time- if he wanted picked up- he'd come and say "heavy" - I think that originated from me telling him every time I picked him up- ooh you are heavy- so now that is what that means--
NOw he has transitioned into something more -- he can say more words so he does--
If he wants me to pick him up-- he says "Mamma Getcha" Its hilarious to hear- Chet thought he was speaking some other language- till I told him what it was--
This I'm sure came from me putting him off- saying-- hold on- Mom will Getcha-- so now-- if you want picked up say it -- "Mamma Getcha" - its too cute and sweet!
Speaking of Sweet- check out the mullet- I've never cut his hair- despite pressure to do so- I just haven't been able to come to terms with it yet- and its soo funny and long-
He can pretty much say all words -- but has yet to say Love-- I ask him all the time- he just says yes- he is pretty particular when it comes to saying stuff- if he can't say it "right"-- he wont' say it- at all- its weird? Again slightly OCD!
Porter loves his animals- and wants to see Molly and Mitzy - all the time (the horses) He stands and talks to them- its hilarious!
When he isn't gazing at the horses- he is playing with the dogs!--
(tug-o-war -- with a coon tail on a string- who needs video games and toys!!)
Porter tolerates the Goat- and the Goat tolerates him- here they were having a race- looks like the goat won - but Porter had good form and finished the race any way!!
Me and my Baby-- oh he is too cute- and getting so big! The wind was blowing a million miles an hour- but he doesn't care!!
Love Him!!
Notice the long pants, boots and sweatshirt- and i was still cold! BRR!

Sooo sweet! Gotta love boys! It is sooo true it is so much fun seeing the world through a munchkins eyes! It makes me appreciate the simple things a little more! Love him and love all of you!!!
i love the funny stuff kids say. and i love that the dog listens to him! must be a born pack leader. you need some sunshine and warmth! no more cold.
Porter's speech is so clear. I love that he answers with "yes" instead of "ya" now. Cracks me up. Today he wanted me to pick him up and said "jodi getcha". I would have had no clue what he was saying if you hadn't told me about it before. He says it so fast it really is like a whole other language.
i like to read your blog because cade is right there with porter! especially with all the animals.....horses, goats, dogs....he loves them all! they definetly need to have a play date!
SO fun! I too am ready for some summer!...although I must say it is more like summer here than there! The way kids say words when they first are talking is so funny! Hallie says, "I wuv you!!!" Totally melts my heart!
