Valentines-- Piece By Piece -The Party

So Sunday we had a party planned- Chet's Dad's Birthday is on the 14th -- which is just fine-- (now that we are married I'd rather do birthday than Valentines any way {however when we were dating it was irritating}) But any way -- we had planned to have people come to our house-- for some food and cake!!-- Me and Porter had made cheesecake the night before- and it was chilling out on the porch- yes isn't that fun- we have a walk in fridge- we call it the "front porch"  its where teh computer and other things live!! It is freezing out there!!  BRR!

So after church we got everything ready -- people showed up around 3:00 and we let the festivities begin!!

Porter got some awesome valentines presents from Gramma and Grandpa Thompson- which he kind of ignored-- but I loved them -- thank you -- !!

Porter had Lik-m-aid's for his valentines to give to his cousins-- (mostly cuz I love them!!)  He distributed them - and Verena made sure to share hers with Bri- and Porter --

 Uh Oh- Bri is molding-- she has turned green!- OOh she loved the Lik-m-Aid!!

 Porter also loved them- he would make a sour face very time- but kept coming back for more!

We had a wonderful dinner- Verena made enchiladas-- ooh soo yummy (i need the recipe!!)

Then we had Cheese cake -- with optional blueberries on the side (cuz lets face it - not everyone loves blueberries!)

Nice CAkes DAve!!! (looks like about a size DDD)

The boys played- shot guns-- Dave got some awesome presents-- including a creeper, a holster- and some super cool CD's (Chet had to immediately unwrap and put on some rock music!!)

It was a wonderful way to spend a Sunday afternoon (a Sunday were the sun came out!!)

Porter, Thereon and Kaitlyn did a little piano time!!  They were inspired after Chet played happy birthday on the piano for us!!

 Little bit of baby snuggle time!!!
