I had big plans for this Valentines Day -- not necessarily for Valentines Day - but just this weekend in general - it was Chet's weekend off (for the month-- yes that's right- I said the month-- crappy huh!) Any way -- Monday the 7th I had started making a list of things that we could possibly do- since my big plans fell through!! Some of the things were fun- others were more work than any one human wanted to do - - But I wanted something planned- Chet however, did not feel the same burning need to plan something -- uhg!!
So nothing was planned-- he did-- however, -- opt out of going hunting with his friends- to spend Saturday with me and Porter- (Good Choice).
After picking up our Bountiful Basket -- and running a few errands- it was time for nap- ooh yes- that was a brilliant idea-- Porter nap-- me and Chet nap-- AHH-- I don't remember the last time-- me and Chet napped on a Saturday afternoon - together -- Wow - it was wonderful-- I awoke refreshed-- and a little disturbed that my day was running out- and I had yet to accomplish anything on my "To DO List" -- so we loaded Porter up- under extreme protest- and went sledding- he hated it-- he hated the ride there-he hated putting on his coat- his hat-- and refused his snow pants-- he bawled the whole way up the hill- stopped bawling long enough to sled down-- (I think it was the wind in his face- couldn't pull it off!) then bawled again at the bottom of the hill-
Me and Chet each sled down once with Porter- and then we called it quits and went home-- BOO HOO!!
We did pick up chineese on the way home- which Porter loves- he was happy to be home-- at his house-- with his food-- and not have to leave again that day! Silly baby!
