Porter loves to wear hats and insists on you wearing one with him!!
Porter is still a skinny guy - - weighing in at 22 pounds
He has 2 dimples
and Grey blue eyes-- with a few flecks of green and brown! Watch out ladies!!
He has 10 teeth-- and one more that just popped through last night!!
He wears size 18 month clothes-- his shirts are always too short-- while his pants-- well he lacks the booty to hold them up properly -- 12months pants are too short-- and 18 month pants are to big-- so as long as he keeps his shoes on -- to hold his pants up--everything is fine- if the shoes come off- he walks right out of his pants!!
Porter loves to talk on the phone- he'll do it all day long- anytime the phone rings- he runs and screams Hello --
We pulled out some old cell phones and charged them up-- apparently he needs some charge to make lights on it!!
Looks like maybe a tele-marketer got his number- he doesn't look pleased at all!
So me and him have had fun with the camera the last few days !!
Porter is talking alot lately -- he can attempt to say most words you say to him-- some of them that are new are:
Uh oh -- he says it all the time- if he throws something he looks at you and says uh-oh (ya like that was an accident?)

He will now -- if you ask nicely -- let you wipe his nose- and he is learning to blow his own nose-- he acts like such a little man when he does it- goes and finds his wipe-- wipes-- and puts it back where he found it-- too funny to watch!!
I've learned if I ask him -- before Id o something -- he is much more willing to let me do stuff- like change his diaper- wipe his nose- wash his hair and other things - he tolerates- but does not enjoy!!
He likes to go outside- even when it is freezing-- but doesnt' last long (or maybe it is me that doesn't last long) either way -- we come inside and warm up by the fire--
Yesterday -- Chet had put him down for a nap--and he apparently wasn't sleepy -- he first went through calling for - Beckie - - then went on to Hannah - - Dadda - - when he had lost all hope in the human spirit -- he started calling for Annie -- when Annie didn't come to his rescue (poor deaf dog) then he called for Gi Gi -- Chet finally felt so bad- that he had resorted to calling for outside dogs to come and rescue him - he got up him-- Silly BAby!!
Lately his sleeping habits have been horrible- he was sick for a week - so I let him do whatever he wanted- including sleeping with me- well now - in the night when he wakes up- he doesn't go back to sleep any more- he screams (for like an hour) until CHet gives in - goes and gets him-- and then Chet has to go and sleep on the couch - because -- if you ask Porter- there is not room in the bed for two boys snuggling on Mom -- he kicks and kicks until Chet finally leaves!! Territorial baby!!
Porter finally got his two bottom molers through- and one top one finally got a point through yesterday - Whew- that was tough!!!
Porter loves his Dog-- they are quite the pair- Porter always wants to share his food with Annie-and Annie is happy to help out!!
Even when being forced to eat celery!!! (which is Porter's new found love -- I guess cold and crunchy works for him?)
Eat it Annie- Eat all your veggies!!!
What a good dog-- really she is soo mellow with him- he uses her for a horse, a step stool-- a garbage disposal -- and sometimes when I'm not looking-- a drum set!!! She just tolerates it!! I guess you do what you gotta do to keep getting gold fish crackers shoveled to you!!
Guzzling some juice before bed-- gotta have a full bladder before I'm in my crib for the night!!
HMM? Let me see that camera mom!!
Taking a ride on the dishwasher train-- He loves to do dishes- and actually is getting pretty good at putting some things away!!!
Well hello there boogers!!! Guess what Mom-- I'm gonna let these here boogies drip on you -- Know you like boogers- so just hold still!!!
Porter has gotten very strict in his manners department-- you must ask him to do -- alot of stuff- including wipe his nose- change his bum-- wash his hair-- and put his clothes on-- otherwise he will protest-- and he is quit the protester!! so I find if I just ask first- he'll usually oblige me !!!
I showed him all the pockets on his overalls- he was fascinated-- and quickly put things down his pants- he was then disapointed when they would fall out his pant legs-- apparently he wasn't hitting the pockets just quite right!!
Porter is liking books more and more each day - He got a Billy Goat Gruff book for Christmas- he'll go get it -- and say -- well nothing- he makes a cool goat noise!!

His hair is super long too- I've never cut it- I love it - long and kind of duck curly in the back!! Soo much fun!!

You asked how I got Hallie off the bottle? I just took it away. She would only have it when she was going to go to sleep, so I started giving her gogurts at that time. Good luck!
