Seriously -- its come down to having to set aside a day -- to have the people we love around us -- expect that we are going to make some grand gesture- to make up for the other 364 days that we didn't acknowledge our love for them-- ?? Ya that sounds hokey to me!!!
But who doesn't like to have a reason to make some wonderful sugar cookies!!
So we did-- Me and Porter made us some fancy fancy cookies!!! We decorated them for Chet!! He liked them!! It made me want it to be Summer!!
I got new heart shaped cookie cutters!!
Porter was modeling them for me!! -- he looks high!! -- (I didn't tell you they were "special cookies")

Porter thought he was super cook wearing the oven mits!!! This is his new favorite way to wander around the house! -- He tells me HOT!
Walla-- a little bit of icing- and we have "porno cookies"
Chet was amused-- not as much as me!! I was laughing hard!!!
And we shared them with a few friends- who would enjoy them as much as we did!!
Now today -- actually being the made up holiday -I feel not at all festive!! What is wrong??
I'm loved-- I love-- and yet-- I don't feel the need to buy into this ?? But -- what I do feel the need for is- to not cook-- so I will use this made up holiday as an excuse-- to not cook!!!
