Well Chet returned home victoriously from hunting!! I was just glad he returned home!! After he had called the night before to tell me exactly where he was hunting in case I needed to call Search and Rescue-- not comforting words to hear!!
He shot a 4 point buck-- pretty nice deer huh!!
He was very tired and sore!! He'd had a long hunt and was ready for some dinner and bed!!
Good Job Baby!! Now its my turn!!
We drew tags in the Elba (Burley) area.
I was unable to go on this hunt, but we're planning on going the last couple days of the season to see if I can get something that tops Chet's deer!!

i have to tell you that is a very creepy picture. it looks like the deer's head is growing out of his belly! congratulations on your victory.
NICE! Of course his tongue is hanging out...not staged I'm sure;) Good luck on your hunting trip....I have this thing with killing animals, its just not in me I get all sappy and sad for them -you go girl!
Nice deer! You better show him up- it's only right! I think general deer season opens tomorrow. If Roudy's planning on going, he's too scared to mention it to me...
