We all love traditions-- no matter how they got started-- TRADITION -- is important! Well in my family we love turkey dinners- so any reason to have one is reason enough-- but for sure we have turkey dinners -- full blown all the fixins-- 3 times a year! Thanksgiving-- of course-- then on Sunday after General Conference every 6 months. Everyone comes over-- and my mom makes the most wonderful turkey meal ever-- stuffing, mashed potatoes-- rolls -- we even tried some of my beet jelly that I experimented with this year - it really is good! The Grandmas come over to enjoy-- and then after we're stuffed to the gills-- she brings out the pies-- oh yes, must have pies with Thanksgiving right!! We truly are spoiled children-- my Mom takes such good care of us-- always making sure we're fed !! Thanks Mom!!

Garrett, Hannah and Jayson -- have their own table!! They were enjoying the food just as much as the adults!

The Big Kid Table!!
I actually didn't get to sit at the big kid table yet-- but that's ok!!

Liam trying one of my pickled beets-- he thought it looked like candy-- he was very dissapointed!! Ya Liam I don't like them either!!

we discovered that turkey and spuds is something syd will eat, so we've been having simplified turkey dinners lately. i think we need to expand our menu to include pie!! that's the best part of turkey dinners.
Yep I love your Ma! Give her a big hug for me;) Looks like the Purcells are livin' it up a usual!
