He's too Smart!

So Porter is smart--- I know all parents think their kid is a prodigy, genius etc. etc. - and why shouldn't they be right- you are their parents- and look how good you've done-- I know- I get it-- I don't think porter is a prodigy - or a genius- but he is smart- he's street smart and people smart- and talks very well- 

and at church he seems to say the funniest things.

a couple of weeks ago- during the sacrament prayer -- (very quiet in the building) Porter was kicking the bench in front of us-- I grabbed his feet and told him to stop - -- he kicked at the bench again-- I told him to stop- cuz that makes Jesus sad. -- He looked right at me- and not quietly mind you -- he has no volume control -- said-- as he points to the guy in front of us -- is that Jesus??? --

I said no- that is not Jesus --  Porter then continued to quiz  me on  Where is Jesus at? -- Can he see me? -- I tried to answer him as best I could while continuing to get him to believe me it would make Jesus sad if he kicked the bench in front of  me-- I don't think it worked- but it did give the others sitting near us a good laugh!!!! 

Then this Sunday Chet was there- a rare surprise due to his stupid work schedule - - he was sitting with Porter and right before the Sacrament prayer (again ) -- Porter asks for his Kitty Book ---  I told him after the bread and water -- he starred at me for a few seconds- then tells me in the most matter of fact 2 yr old voice--  "Books are Quiet" -- I gave him the book- he was smarter than me- what can I say!!!

Oh I am in for it- if at 2 he can already out smart me -- and make me feel like he is right- !!!  

HELP!!!

This picture cracks me up- I put him in my room to watch a show- and came in to find him with my glasses on watching it- this is how I roll in the evenings- and now so does he!!!  Silly Baby!!!
