Saturday morning- Porter woke up with Goopy eyes- Ick!!! The dreaded pink eye!! -- Chet freaked out- cuz -- and this is funny -- I had told him years ago- that pink eye is caused from poo particles getting in your eyes-- hehehe!!! Chet immediately wanted to know how he got poop in his eye!! hahaha!!!
I crack my self up!!!
Any way -- so I phoned in sick to church for the next day - and went and got some eye drops for his goopy eyes!! The rest of the day was spent lounging around the house-- doing not too much of anything- no cleaning that is for sure-- I did get Porter dressed-- and managed to put Green underware on him- that was all we did for St. Patty's day -- luckily Kiersten ( a wonderful friend) had us over for green pancakes!!! Yum!!
I didn't even cook dinner- Arby's it was!!! Yum
Sunday was not much better- we slept in till almost 10-- when we finally got up I made some oatmeal for us-- Porter took off his clothes- and remained naked the rest of the day -- seriously no clothing for teh child all day long-- we weren't going outside- it was snowing - we weren't going any where-- so who needs clothes-- at 6:30 - he finally decided he wanted his Jammies back on- so I obliged-- -- Chet cooked for us-- cuz I was busy holding down the couch -- and chasing a naked 2 yr old!!
and more over- I was happy to eat cereal- but Chet wanted something with more substance?? - Go figure huh?

Sometimes you have to just have one of those weekends! I am sure he survived and I bet you really didn't win the worst mon award you did after all go get him some medicine for his goopy eye that is good!!!! Hope he is feeling better!
I think it takes a good mom to know when to throw in the towel and just have a lazy weekend. When you hit a wall and try and keep going, that's when the bad mom really comes out :)
