A Female Fiesta

So I've really been trying to have a monthly girls night!! I think we all need it-- and I need something to look forward to and plan for-- so its been fun- so far we've done Spa night -- huge hit-- and  Fondue night! Also a hit- although after 2 nights of fondue in one week- it has gone straight to my gut- oh my goodness- we're gonna have to do an exercise night-- hehehe!!

But for March - I had planned a Mexican Fiesta -- OOh it was delicious too- cuz really its all about the eats am I right?? -- -

So we had Fish Tacos with all the wonderful trimmings including cilantro lime dressing (Thank you Jodi!!!), we had  Shrimp tacos sauteed in honey butter with mango salsa!! - and we had chicken lime tacos that cooked in the crockpot all day long and were sweet and limy-- oh they were good!

We had homemade salsa and guacamole (thank you Mom!)  and Tropical fruit salsa. Then for dessert we had Angel Food cake with strawberries chocolate and caramel and of course whipped cream (Thank you MOm!!) -- ooh to die for (I however was too full from eating all 3 tacos to eat any cake!!   Oh well huh- my hips will thank me (as well as any one else near me!) next time I put on my swim suit!!!

We played a super fun game called Quirkle its a mix between rummy and dominos- and it was fun and challenging -- and I smoked everyone at it!! I am a terrible loser- so its good I won!!! Hehehe!!

Oh and I made these super cute flower headbands - we had to look like official "Senioritas"   I think they turned out great!!!
