Porter has been sick- had Croup for like ever-- yesterday -- I finally took him to Jodi's and went to work- he was unimpressed with the whole idea-- this is waht I got from him :
He kept his hood like that the entire drive- and its not a short drive - like 15 minutes!! (I think he fell asleep!!)
But most of our time was spent hanging out with Porter who just wanted to snuggle and watch Elmo and Little Peoples over and over and over- and one night he even slept forever- seriously - he is not a sleeper-
He slept from about 7:30 p.m. -- through most of the night- only waking up once to get a diaper and some jammies on- then back to sleep Wow!! Seriously it was amazing- I knew he felt crappy if he'd do that!!
We've been working on potty training on and off- with some success- but not enough to scream over- or quit ordering diapers over!!
Porter says really funny things these days- any tmie you tell him its time to say prayers- he says- I'm Busy!
If he needs or wants to do something- he tells you - I need Something, or -- I'm doing Something-- silly boy!!!
He loves jerky- weird as that is???
The cats are finally warming up to him- only took 2 and half years!! Not bad right!! They'll even tolerate his kisses and squishes!!!
So really we've just been enjoying life- trying to get ready for winter (Boo hoo!) and trying to stay healthy- hard as that is!!!

Happy Birthday...You make 30 look good :) What a bummer your plans fell through.
Boo to the plans falling through. Doug isn't a planner either so that would have been WAY fun! Poor Porter "baby" I hate it when these little ones are sick. So sad! Well happy birthday and glad everyone is doing better! We love you!
Happy Birthday Becky! Sorry that things didn't work out the way they were supposed to but it sounds like you had a good time anyway. I hope Porter gets to feeling better! Poor baby
