Halloween 2011

Well I love Halloween- I love the fact that its the one day in the year where you can dress up and be something else- something totally different than what you are (that is why I am usually a witch!, cuz we all know that is opposite of what I'm really like!!! [wink , wink]!

So this year started out early with Witches Night- oh what fun-- then the Pumpkin Carving Party (2nd Annual!) 

 

Hannah and Dad intently figuring out what to draw on Hannah's pumpkin-- My dad has always loved to carve pumpkins!!!

Going Good!!!

I had little mini squash for the little boys to color- it is soo rare to have them all in teh same place all at once- such different personalities!!!

Gramma held Blake- it was a good job for her!!! Unfortunately Kara and Jayden couldn't make it- poor Jayden got the croup!!!

Jayson and Garrett were pretty handy with the knives this year! Way to go!!!

The final product- Wow! I love the look of Jack-O-Lanterns!!

Jodi Brought do it yourself  candy necklaces- which was right up Remi's alley- she is super crafty- and the little boys loved it- they looked stellar with their new bling!!!

Chet had to work on teh pumpkin night- so we saved a good pumkin for him and porter to do on Sunday- Porter was lots of help!!!

Finally it was Monday and Halloween was upon us- i had gotten two costumes for Porter this year-- and finally talked him into wearing one of them-- the warmest one !!!  He was a blue monster- and I loved it- i coudln't get enough of the ghetto booty on the Blue monster!!!

 And we're off-- This is the first year Chet has been able to go with Porter so he took lead- and Porter loved having his daddy there to help him- and carry him home!!!

Fist house down- Score-- Porter was more interested in the dogs at people's houses!!  

Me and DAd waiting for the kids to finish the first house- already freezing- apparently I'm not tall enough to take   a decent picture holding the camera out- Dad had to squat way down!!

 After trick-or-treating we went to see Gramma Great- and get some of her delicious Candy!!!

 Karston cute man and Little Jayden were dogs- their costumes were soo cute- and Doug was teh dog Catcher- not pictured- but - still soo cute!!

 Gramms and Jayden- cute little man- feeling much better now too!

 Blake was a tiger- and soo cute!! I loved his whiskers!

 Here comes the clan- and some other random kid dressed as Elmo!!!

 Garrett's mask was scary it pumped blood that ran down his face- EEK- Porter tried to be brave- but ended up being terrified of the mask!!!

Rapunzel-- Oh Hannah how sweet! 

Can't get enough of this cute man- i think we'll be wearing costumes around the house and taking more pictures for a month or so!!!
