What's Hotter than 29??

Truth be Told -- 30 IS!!!  I'm living Proof- if you don't believe me- just check me out!! I'm way hotter at 30 than I was at 29-!!!! Way Hotter!!! NOw as I'm only OOh not even 10 days into 30 this could all drastically change and fall apart- but for the moment- Me and 30 we have something going on !

You may ask - what a hot 30 yr old did on such a momentous occasion!! Well brace yourself- it is intense!!!

Tueday night (I turned 30 on Wednesday ) Chet asked me to pack a bag for myself including swimwear and something to go to dinner in!!! --  Now this is huge- while I love and adore my husband- he is well - well he never plans anything- seriously - never- he is a Christmas Eve shopper- and I'm more of a - gotta hve it done by August type of person (for Christmas! -- and yes it was done almost by August!!)  So the thought that he might have something up his sleeve- was almost more than I could handle!! I quickly packed my bag-- (immediately so he wouldn't be able to change his mind! -) handed it to him - and walked away!!!  I love surprises- love love love them- never seem to get them- but I love them still as much!!

so wednesday comes- I go to work- with all sorts of anxiety and anticipation- my mom was taking me to lunch-- and I was excited about that- I had been doing a 10 day zumba challenge to cut some inches and fat off -- before 30 showed up! (it worked awesome!) but I was going to cheat on my birthday (Day 9 of the challenge) and cheat I did- I had chicken fingers and fries-- oh it was delicious-

Chet called to tell me happy birthday again - but more importantly to inform me that Porter was not feeling well -- Oh now-- seriously -- and further more- the person that would be babysitting him tonight- does not need to be sick -- I agreed -- kind of figuring what he might have planned --  and told him it was ok- we could do it this weekend!! (Cuz Chet wasn't working - miracle of miracles!) -- he agreed- and I then made my own birthday plans to take home a pizza and get a movie and just snuggle an dhang out with my boys!!

i called Chet as I left work and asked -- do you want me to get pizza- nope nope its taken care of - was the reply - wow really - his plans were ruined- and still he made new plans- wow I could really get used to this!!!

I showed  up at home- to pizza cooking in the oven - yum!!  a Lemon Sour Cream pie in teh fridge- and the two sweetest  boys ever !!!

Porter indeed did not feel good- hardly touched his pizza- at a small bite of his pie- but I ate plenty for all of us!!  After dinner and pie- we did presents-- oh and it was wonderful - brand new (nothing better than) leather gloves-- I love new gloves- I think you need a new pair of gloves (work glove especially) every time you do something- these were new leather driving gloves- and they are wonderful- nicely lined to keep my fingers toasty!!

But 7:30 all the merriment was over and we were bored so we went and snooped around Walmart for a while- and killed some time.

Oh and the surprise- it was awesome- just the fact that he had something planned totally was worth it- we were headed to pocatello to dinner with Dave and Verena at Red Lobster-- ooh I love it!!- then Dave and Verena were going to keep Porter while me and Chet went and dipped our sexy bodies in the hot water at Lava-- just what I've been wanting to do!!   but guess what- Saturday came- and Porter was still sick- sicker actually -- so we didn't do that-- we went pawn shopping -- (I secretly have a thing for pawn shops- and its odd?-- mostly pawn shop jewelry!)  Then my mom watched Porter and me and Chet had a late lunch at Texas Road House- Ooh it was great!!  
It was a great Birthday Thank you all for the presents and birthday wishes- and like I said- nothing so far is hotter than 30!!!
