Animal Filled Weekend

This last weekend- was filled with adventures!!!  Mostly animal based!!!

Saturday Chet went hunting with his dad- and ended up with this lovely little critter:

Porter was soo excited- he'd been telling me for days -that "daddy was getting him a deer"  and sure enough- Chet delivered -- in order to deliver this specimen- he had to miss a great shot at a 6 point elk- he was sad- so the deer was a consolation prize !!!

We went to Chuckarama that night for dinner- Porter loves it- and I can't lie- I kind of like it too!!!  Porter loves the animals on the wall - and had to let everyone around us know what a rooster says- its hilarious - and it can't be mimicked-- he is a one of akind rooster crower! 

Sunday was a animal house at nursery - geez the kids were wound up! But it was a good day and Porter looked soo styling cute in his new clothes!!!  Thanks Verena!!

After some pizza we went for  a car ride- Mostly to put Porter to sleep- he went to sleep and me and chet got the fishing poles and drove to the pond- this time of year makes me sad- when the pond starts to drop- and you can actaully see the fish swimming around-- makes me sad knowing that - winter will be here any day -- and that no more fishing -- boo hoo!!!

The wind was a bit brisk- but the fishing was awesome!!!

Porter eventually woke up- just as we were deciding to be done- he came down and watched for a minute- then we packed up- as we were packing up- he noticed his fishing pole- and told Chet "Porter catch a fish?"  So chet took him down and rigged up his pole- I grabbed my camera- and didn't make it in time for al the commotion- a fish took off with his line just as it hit the water-   Now I don't know what happened earlier in the summer- but Porter got a huge fear of fish- and told me as we alked to the water- "Fish Scary"  "make Porter Cry" -- and sure enough- he wanted to hold the pole- and as soon as the fish took off with it- he freaked out--  I caught this picture here of the freak out!!!

I love it- he is soo pissed- Just open your mouth and let it all out baby - and Chet is soo excited to catch a fish on the Cars Pole!!!

After torturing Porter with Fish- we stopped to see the other critters by the Pond- these crazy goats

We got the fish in and went home to fillet them and have dinner-- to much fun for one weekend!!!

 Hannah and the puppy "Waylan"  Blaine had brought his kids out to fish in the hurricane weather we were having me and Porter stayed home with Blake!!!
