Witches Night Out

Saturday was a spectacular day-- the weather was - not warm- but not cold (which is ok!)  I got to play play play with Porter all morning!!  Then in the evening- I got to dawn my witch gear- and head to Jodi's house for the annual Witches Night Out!!  This is an annual event thrown by Lorna and her family -- I was soo excited to get an invite-- and even more excited to actually get to go- !!!  So I met Jodi at her house- put some finishing touches on our makeup- the D'Ann and her sister Trisa met up with us- then it was off to Lorna's house-- to load up!!

The witches were to meet at the broom isle in Walmart- let me tell you the looks you get- as 64 witches filter into walmart and pack themselves into the broom isle- then each take a turn cackling!! Hehehe!!

Some little kids were traumatized and bawled-- it was hilarious- I love being stared at - and it makes me want to dress freaky - all the time- just so people stare-- (I don't know what that means about me as a person- but I'm sure I need some professional help!!!)

After the broom Isle- we met up with all the witches to divide into groups for a scavenger hunt-- now imagine this 64 witches running around a neighborhood looking for things like pumpkins- spider rings- corn stalks,etc.-- Our group was hilarious- and we finished up (with only minor cheating!) and drove like crazy mad people- with witches hanging out the doors of the van- as we sped back to the meeting  place- we lost- we came in dead last- but I'm sure we had the most fun!!!

Then it was time for dinner and some fun games-- we played booty scharades-- they tell you a word and you have to spell it with your butt-- its hard-- believe me- but fun to shake it for a few folks!!

The food was to die for-- I had a cajun corn chowder- it was delish-- I don't usually likes chowders or corn in my food- but this was soo good- filled with shrimp and spicy--   then the very traditional white elephant gift exchange- it was hilarious seeing the halloweeny things that people wrappedup!! I ended up with bloody severed fingers (I thinkt hey are actually marshmallowy type things/) and some other fun halloween candy!!!

The night was wonderful- it was great to get out and enjoy some new company!! and
a huge huge thank you to Lorna and her family for putting together such an amazing night- I can't imagine the planning it took-and especially thank you for inviting me!!!

Hannah wanted her makeup done too- she needed witch eyeliner!! It looked awesome!
And now the sassy witches!!!! I loved my costume except for the lack of form it had- it really was not figure flattering at all!!!

The red was awesome though!!!

See what I mean about figure- I almost deleted this picture cuz I think it looks awful- but I want you all to see the whole thing!!  Cool sleeves huh!
The witchy sisters!!!--

I told Jodi to not smile- she looks pissed huh!!!

Gorgeous witch!!!   I think the black lipstick looks good on her- maybe something she should try on a daily basis- !!!
The witch Crew- D'Ann (green nose), Trisa, Beckie, Jodi

Auntie Jerri was out witching with us too-

Jodi, Jerrie, Me!

It was an amazing night- and now I want to wear my witch costume more- any one want to go to dinner dressed witch style?  HMM?? Kara, Mom, Terresa and Jodi- (I'm talking to you!) ooh that sounds like too much fun!!!
