Today I am thankful for a warm house-- and a husband who gets up and makes a fire-- so I don't freeze when I step out of the shower!! oh and speaking of shower- who took care of Porter so I got a long hot shower-- and I was even able to shave my legs- that is something to be thankful for-- less leg fur!!!
I'm also thankful for a roof -- over my head-- and walls around me- the wind was going about 30 mph all night long and this morning-- I didn't feel it-- I was warm and safe-- except for the fear that a big tree might crash onto me --while I was in the shower-- funny thing is-- I wasn't worried about being crushed -- or being found naked-- I was worried about the scratches from the branches as I crawled out- and how irritated I'd be about my shower being ruined-- random I know - - -
I am thankful for family -- they have made my birthday so so special !! My mom made a cake for my birthday party at work - - My Sis- in law- Kara- made me cookies--
Jodi called to wish me a happy birthday - and Chet is planning a fun evening! I couldn't be more blessed with such wonderful people to celebrate with -
I'm also thankful for my sense of humor-- It helps me every day -- It helps me to not get my feelings hurt-- it helps me to make others laugh - - and it helps me feel and stay young (29 is old you know!!) I can find some humor in almost every situation -- its a gift! Its a talent! I'm thankful for it!

Glad the tree didn't destroy your shower. :) Happy birthday. 29 isn't all that bad, right? But I hear 30 is a different matter altogether.
