Ruby -- is Coug's sister-- (remember my poor one eyed kitten I saved last year!!)
Ruby was a wild animal-- but Coug slowly showed her that people are good for alot of things- including good scrubbs!! Ruby finally warmed up to us after Coug went MIA --- she was lonely I think!!
This spring it seemed that Ruby had gained some weight-- alot of weight-- some Baby weight-- hooray we were gonna have baby kittens-- i just hoped she wouldn't hide them from me like all the other barn cats and by the time you find them -- the kittens are soo wild and mean you can't ever touch them!!

I made Ruby a bed-- and she decliend to use it-- instead she made a straw cave in the barn-a wonderful place for babies!!

Once I finally dug all the babies out-- there were 7 of them--geez-- Ruby was trying to rival Octomom!
I brought them a small snack of milk!! -- I thought about using breast milk-- but for some reason that just seemed wrong-- so they got cows milk! They weren't so sure- but liked to walk around in it!!
Me and Chet have named a few of them!
Sue -- Chet thought she was super cute and Sue just fit!
The other ones haven't been named --
I just love this picture--he looks like a cartoon-- with those big feet and tiny little face saying=- hey pick me up and love on me!!

i love it! i never get to see tiny kitties anymore. yay for ruby warming up and deciding people are good. i love all the babies. and barbara is a great name for the one with weird hair in the front :) thanks for the great post.
