Can You Fix It?

Seems like no matter what the problem is- My dad can fix it--

Dad-- my care is broken-- sure enough--he can make it go again--

Dad -- My house is broken-- sure enough-- he can make it work again --

Dad -- Dad -- Dad -- I am sure he gets sick of having to fix the whole broken world-- but when you need a specialist-- you call your Dad-- or you should call my Dad-- if your Dad can't fix it!!

A prime example of my Dad's Excellent Fix it Skills--

Me and Jodi were painting my mom's Deck (what a wonderful birthday gift !) Any way -- we knew before we started that the stairs on the deck-- were less than desirable -- as far as stability- and the more paint we scraped off-- it seemed the stairs were losing the the battle with gravity -- and we were all going to fall to our death.

I called my Dad

Dad --- the stairs are falling off --
He came over and with his magical skills, to fix the problem - and fix it he did!

Here is a tutorial on how to keep your deck from falling off your house!!

First you need some tools-- a Come along is a handy one.

a little help from Brent and some power tools!

Some Big Ass Grabber Screws
(the longer the better)
Will keep the banister from fall off



A come Along can keep the stairs attached to the deck-- until you can figure out how to reattach them!


Walk carefully on the opposite side of the stairs when taking your baby into the house!!


One More Big Ass Grabber Screw
And Walla!!!

The were able to save the deck from is certain destruction!!!

Real Men can fix anything with duct tape or --
in this case --
a Come Along and some Big Ass Grabber Screws.
