Babes in a Tub

So for Mother's Day -- I had a semi-brilliant idea-- yes -- I know-- what can I say -- I am gifted when it comes to ideas that are soo good-- but way to hard to carry out-- "The Road to Hell is Paved with Good Intentions!" Seems I am skipping down it-- any way- my idea was this

In my mom's bathroom she had a super cute picture of 3 girl babies in a bathtub-- so I thought for Mother's day -- we'd replace the 3 girl babies with 4 boy babies-- in a tub--

So we arranged a time and date to conquer this task- now when I say conquer-- I say it in a way that is soo true-- it is a task-- 4 little boys-- all mobile (for the most part) from ages 18 months to 8 months-- wow-- it was wild--

I had the scene set!!!

Porter tried it out for me-- I loved it-- I had this image in my head of what the pictures should look like-- adorable-- of course!!

Karston showed up first- so Porter and Karston tested it out-- I figure get some pictures before they started crying-- cuz that is what happens-!!! Babies Cry!!

Then Jonah and Ryan showed up--

Ok-- ready set-- strip them babies down-- and toss them in the tub--

The tub being the bin I stole from my dad -- he was putting grain in it to shovel into sacks to plant-- yes I know-- I am a resourceful person!!!!

I filled the big tub up with my dirty laundry - and put two pillows on top of that-- good thing I hadn't done laundry yet-- it was a deep tub!!!

We tossed the babies in and let the photo taking begin-- I need a wonderful new camera-- cuz my point and shoot just wasn't fast enough--

Ryan thought it was unacceptable that we had asked him to sit by the babies and especially sit in the tub -- filled with dirty laundry--

We were finally able to get one picture-- that Ryan, Jonah Porter and Karston-- no one was crying-- we had filled their mouths with graham crackers-- !! It turned out super cute-- I just love these little guys!!

Here are few of the funny pictures-- for some reason they all bawled when we'd put the hats on them?? I don't know what the issue was there???

Kartson is soo mellow-- just wanted to ride the horse-- go Karston go!!!


Ryan kept trying to get out of the tub-- screaming and crying- I love the look on Porter's face here- the "what the hell is wrong with that kid" look!!



After all the tears and quick photo skills- the Mommies were dirty and needed in the tub too!!!


There are just so many cute ones- but I'll stop now!!!


Needless to say -- i think my mom liked the idea! I haven't seen it hanging- but I am sure its adorable- cuz-- uh -- look at who is in it-- ADORABLE!!!
I think next year these 4 little boys are gonna give everyone a run for their money!
