My First Mother's Day

So this is what I came home from church too!! How precious is that!! Roses for me!! and Onesies- our first baby clothes!! EEK! I loved them! They are little polo shirts-- what a cute little man he is gonna be!! I don't think they fit me? Hmmm?

We had gone to Chet's Mom's house on Friday and had dinner with her -- lasagna- yummo!! I think she really enjoyed her dinner! We stayed at their house that night and got up super early Saturday morning to go turkey hunting!!! Yes this is what pregnant people do -- they go turkey hunting!!:)

So we had a wonderful day -- the weather was absolutely perfect!! I got tired of walking around 9:00 a.m.-- so I laid down on the hillside with my gun and a decoy while they (Chet, Rob and Chet's Dad) went off walking to find a gobbling bird!!! I took a wonderful nap-- made sure to roll occasionally so I sunburned my face evenly!!! I loved it-- that is my favorite part of turkey hunting-- log naps on the hill!!

Sunday of course was church and then we planned to head to my mom's for steaks on the grill (gotta take advantage of days in Idaho when the wind doesn't blow!!) We ran home from church to change clothes and I got my wonderful surprise-- honestly I was kind of feelin bummed when we left for church --thinking Chet had blown the day off-- I realize I don't have a baby yet-- but I can feel it!! NO he hadn't forgotten -- he just had a plan to set it up!! Very very good work !!!

Chet is gonna be such a good daddy-- look at the cute clothes he gets!!

Dinner at my mom's was delicious- and I think that Mother's Day was a success!!
