COUG!

Soo the other day I went into the barn to feed the horses and a little tiny kitten ran under the bale of hay and hid from me. I tried and tried to find it-- I just love tiny baby kittens-- it looked to be about ooh 5 -6 weeks old. Well later that week it was just getting dark and I could hear a kitten howling-- I put on my shoes and went out to find the poor soul!! I finally found him -- he was sitting up against the tack room-- just howling-- not sweet mowes- but ear piercing howls-- I think he had lost his mom and was trying to find her-- but I was gonna put him back in the barn -- so he didn't get ate by some predator!! I tried to grab it but it was way to fast-- and ran into the barn-- (after crashing into the door first oops!)

I kept seeing just glimpses of the tiny kitten on the mornings I'd go and feed. Chet called one day and said he had caught it-- it was blind in one eye-- ooh poor baby!! So I immediately made it my mission to take care of it!! I went out to find it after work that day - once I caught it -- I figured I could make it tame-- (ya right! Wild Barn kitty) Any way I caught it and he was super friendly snuggled up and wanted to be friends-- but would still just howl and howl-- and then it would snuggle and then look up at me and hiss and give me his biggest cougar growl-- I took him up to the house and made him some milk and cat food-- he loved it-- he'd still look over and hiss and growl and me even while he as eating! I named him Coug-- because of his mean cougar growl!! hehehe!

Notice his blue eye-- that is the one he is blind in-- poor kitty, but he was loving the ham!!

Coug finally started to warm up to me by the end of the weekend- he'd come out and cry and cry and then run away when I got close-- but I'm usually able to catch him. Sunday he took a nice long nap in my sweatshirt-- he was snuggly and warm!! Cute baby! I wish I could find a nice safe home for him-- free of predators and things that want to eat the baby Coug.

I disagree with Cindy! You don't need anymore inside cats to become fat and lazy. Maybe this one will eat mice like the others should!!
