Sharing Time

So I lack the spiritual sense of creativity! And I need to tapp into all of yours! I do the 5th Sunday Sharing Times in primary -- and obviously this month -- is being thankful! So my idea was -- and I've done this before just on Faith-- is make cookies -- with thankful ingredients -- the kids love it and it kind of gets the point across with out losing their attention-- so I need some feedback-- what I was gonna do is put the ingredients in a bag-- and on each ingredient put something we are thankful for -- (i.e. home, family, prophet, etc.) then either have a song or a scripture reference-- I like to use alot of music in my stuff- mostly cuz I find the scriptures a little boring- -and the kids don't pay much attention-- I get it better in a song-- So any way -- then they have to say a way to show gratitude for that thing. ---ok, stupid, or no? Or the other take I had on it- was Ingredients for a Thankful Life-- but I honestly have a brain fart on that one-- I think I have 7 ingredients in the cookies-- so if any one can go off that one-- and give me some ideas on what it takes to live a thankful life that would be awesome!

To hard for the kids? -- I doubt it right?

Any way some feed back on it -- and ideas for Things to be thanksful for and songs to go along would be great !
Or if the idea is just crap -- tell me that too- I know they are just little kids-- but I'd hate for them to listen to crap -- so Thanks all!

i like the thankful cookie idea. are you going to give each kid a bag with all the ingredients for cookies, or how will you work that?

some things to be thankful for -- being healthy, warm home, friends, pets.

hope it works out!
