Porter Turns 1

Ooh I can't believe how time flys-- especially when you are having fun!!
My little man -- turned 1 -- on August 27 -- I know I'm late posting-- I've been grieving the loss of my baby!!!

Here are a few things about Porter--
Weight - 19lb 6 oz  - (50th Percentile)- we just can't seem to get past that 20 lb mark!!!

Height 30 inches -- (60th Percentile) - I can't believe that is 10 inches he's grown in 1 year -- wow!


Head -- i can't remember-- but its 75th percentile--

Porter is not a very picky eater-- most of the time-- but he does know what he likes best!!

His favorites are:
Watermelon
Cantelope
Mango
Grapes
Bananas (he can say banana -- Nana) too cute!
Spaghetti
Tacos  -- mostly just the taco meat!
Stir Fry -- i can't believe he loves it-- I guess if you smother veggies in teriyaki-- even I will eat them!
Green Beans-- He thinks they are fun -- cuz he can pick them up

Foods he doesn't really like (but will occasionally eat!):
Bread -- I don't know what is up with this-- most kids eat bread right??
Cheese-- again-- uh I'm at a loss
Cake -- ya I know right?? -- For his birthday we had cheese cake-- instead of dry -- bread like cake--made him happy!!!
Those are the few i can think of!!  But like I said-- he is really not too picky!!!

Porter is walking-- and trying to run-- he has bumps and bruises to prove it-- he even had a cute little bruise on his bum-- too funny --he must have sat on a toy???

Porter is saying a few words-- and I am super impressed at how fast he learns!

Porter says:

Dadda --
Banana -- Nana
Kitty - Titty (that is one of my favorite- cuz he says it with the cutest little voice!!) He loves his Kitties
Hot -- Everything is hot-- if its dangerous!
He was saying baby today -- but I don't know that he knew he was I think the jibberish was just lining up ever so! -- so we wont count that yet!
He almost has doggy -- and it comes out occasionally - but nothing official there either!

Porter definitely has a mind of his own -- and wants to show you how its done-- very independent--!!
Porter sleeps through the night-- but don't get fooled-- ifyou put him down at 10 p.m. - he wakes up at 6:00 -- if you put him down at 8:00 p.m.-- guess what time he gets up? -- yup 4:00 uhg!!
Porter loves to play in the toilet -- and has recently discovered how to flush-- now if he'd just learn to poo -- in that toilet!!  Ok -- ok - I won't rush things!

Porter loves his daddy -- and loves to play rough with him-- they have "rumpuses" which consist of all sorts of naughty games -- that I probably would not approve of-- but since I'm not home to stop it-- they have fun--
They play Timber -- (Porter sits on teh bed-- and Chet yells timber- and falls on the bed-- bouncing Porter- he thinks its the best!)
They play bulls --- just like it sounds-- they crawl full speed at each other and crack heads!
They play baby slide-- Chet puts porter on the bed and drags him around by his feet-- like a slide--You should hear the laughter!

 Again Our photographer was amazing and was able to capture Porter-- just as he is-- unfortunately she has moved to Colorado-- soo if you live in Colorado-  Denver area-- look her up-- !!
