Between Porter and Chet there are alot of animals roaming freely at my house-- I thought I liked animals- well I have nothing over on my boys!
Chet got home from work on Saturday (his birthday) and was shooting at a bird in the driveway -- he missed- and came in to get a different gun--
Chet and Annie then went out to hunt some doves in the driveway -- and soon Chet came back in with this-- no this is not a dove--
Chet was down by the big tree in the corner of the yard and Annie was acting really "gamey" she ran into the bushes and came out with this-- she had stirred up a Covey of these-- I think they are Huns? Not sure-- honestly can't remember?? "We'll call them big birds!
Annie brought the bird to Chet-- fairly unharmed-- So Chet being the cool dad he is-- brought it in for Porter to see!!
Porter was super excited- he loves all little things!
He Wasn't scared at all of it! Wanted to give it loves-- the bird was pretty calm as well?
Porter had to give the bird a squeeze! and a nuzzle- he loves to put his face on things- and say OOOH! Loves you know!
The bird didn't bite at him or do anything!! Lucky for the bird!!
Porter loves to discover new things-- and it is soo fun for me and Chet to make new discoveries with him! The world is new through the eyes of a 1 year old!

No we didn't keep the bird- we gave it back to Annie - the rightful owner-- !!
i love that he loves his little fuzzies so much. you can tell how happy he is to have that bird by him.
