Picture Frame Model

You know when you buy picture frames-- and they have the "custom" photo already put in there- the photo that makes you compare your mediocre life to the fantastic one portrayed on the frame-- and you say  -- Geeze " are we ever going to be as happy as the baby Bjorn couple?"   Or -- wow-- when I'm 70-- I want to still have my 30year old neck- cheek bones- and my husband- will be tanned- and not wrinkly at all!!  Yes-- these photos int he frames -- make us look at our lives and say -- HMM?- but maybe just maybe if I buy this frame- and put my picture in there- it will make me look that good- right??\

Probably -- what am I getting at right??

Well first of all-- Any one can smile for a picture-- !!  That doesn't make a person happy!

It doesn't mean that as soon as the camera is turned away - - that the person is not crying in the corner --!!

It doesn't mean that - person who looks so put together- and calm and collected and like the perfect little family -- isn't struggling - trying to figure out where they are going to get extra grocery money this month--

It doesn't mean that -- the perfect family picture- with the handsome father- beautiful mother- and the perfect 3 blond haired children -- isn't that "handsome father's " Other family -- (ok now that might be a stretch- but you better believe it happens!!!)

Any way - on with the point- any one can look happy - and we shouldn't compare ourselves to what other's appear to be-- behind closed doors- alot of stuff can happen!!!


I am not trying to make a point aboutme- or anything- just thought I'd mention that- don't judge--

But you can ooh and awe- at my very cute, very handsome-- "Picture Frame Model" pictures I snapped this weekend!!!

 Now who doesn't want a picture frame with that on it!!!  Bare bummed little boy!! Diggin through the cooler!!

 Ok this one above is really the one - I loved it!! I thought-ooh yes- this could be in a picture frame (actually it was Chet!! - but I took the photo - I should get some credit right?)

 Check out that hair--- I love it- Saturday was a good day for it too- nice humidity -- caused some good curls- alot of bug spray helped too!!!

 Grubby face-- only a mother- or grandmother- or aunt could love!! (and they do!!)

 You know how kids go through phases where they smile funny - or won't look at the camera- Chet is in a tongue phase! naughty boy!!  But ooh still so handsome! (and tan!)

I told him to go and get me some of the purple flowers- I thought it would make a cool picture- but the purple didn't show up as good as I wanted- boo hoo!!

So this is my life- as portrayed in Department Store Picture Frames!!

I love it- I live in it!!- and when the camera is shut off- i am still smiling!!!
