When Porter was born -- aside from his huge feet-- I noticed how long his fingernails were-- I knew I could feel him trying to scratch his way out!! -- but they were like wolverine claws. At the hospital they wouldn't clip them-- something about - not safe- etc. etc. etc.-- so I go home with this tiny baby and his wolverine claws-- my mom got me a grooming kit (thank you thank you thank you!) But I was too scared to actually use the clippers-- I didn't want to miss and cut off his finger-- it could happen right??_-
So I used the file- I'd file and file and file-- it worked prettygood-- well eventually I got not soo scared of cutting off a finger-- and advanced to the clippers-- Well now it is serious business-- his nails grow soo stinkin fast-- this has become a ritual-- every Friday we clip nails--
