Sunday Fun!

This Last sunday was such a nice day! My dad's choir put on a wonderful presentation to honor Pioneers and Pioneer Day ! Very very good!

After church me and Chet lounged for a while when John and Kim invited us over for some food and fun -- their house is always fun!!!

We had to drive down in a freaky freaky rain storm-- flash flood is a better description-- but any way -- we made it-- Barely I think!

So after eating some delicious, delicious food (Kim made this grape salad that was to die for!) Everyone decided it was time to ride some horses. Of course I didn't ride-- or even go in the pen -- although I wanted to!! (Doctors orders said no horse riding ! Ok I get it!!) But I was there with the camera to capture all the moments-- except one I really wanted -- oh well!

The one reason I actually got my camera out was to capture Kim's riding outfit!!

Kim has great style-- she is super crafty, and always looks amazing-- no matter what she is wearing-- this outfit was no different-- I love her style and her independent ways!!

Here Kim is with Iggy - its hard to tell -- but let me explain- this is what Kim is riding in-- I envy her so much!!
She has a green polka dot bikin top on under her super cute butterfly shirt, short shorts and she did take off her flip flops and traded them in for the orange and black socks and her boots! The outfit was just great!!


Melinda and Kim getting everything adjusted for this horse (can't remember his name) but he is a tall guy -- we had to get Melinda a bucket to get on him-- its a long reach!!


Conner and Melinda- don't they all look like pros-- I love the fact that everyone rides in shorts!!!

John and Chet putting the bridle on Spec-- she is a good horse- hard to catch-- but wonderfully slow to ride! They didn't even put a saddle on her and Conner rode her every where-- even Zena went for a ride (I missed that picture GRR!)

Now waht would be a day of riding without your gritty ranch dog!

Zena was perfect for that-- she is hilarious and runs the place- She went for a ride with Conner and Spec-- and with Kim and her horse (can't remember his name either) But when the horse was misbehaving for Kim-- Zena wasn't gonna take it and tried to bite the horse-- finally Kim put Zena on the ground to watch from a better view!!

It was a great great sunday afternoon!!
