Maiden Voyage

It only took 365 days (and then some!!) but my raft finally made it to the water-- yup-- no longer am I taking naps in it in the living room (that was last year) I'm rowing me and Chet around the pond-- catching fish!! Oh how exciting!!

I love the water-- but I don't swim good-- soo anything that floats me around is my friend!!

Notice how well Chet ignores me when he doesn't want his picture taken!

The weather was perfect and the pond was like glass!! Except for my splashes I was making with my virgin paddling skills!!


Deep in thought!!-- Hmm Fishing yes-- that is a deep subject!!!


Happy Fisherman-- he caught alot of fish -- I think 5 in the little bit of time we were out there! See the other people on the bank-- that's my uncle and cousins-- they were doing remarkably well too!!

Me and Vermin were enjoying the raft! Vermin was super wiggly and jumping around-- the problem became when I accidentally dumped water from my oar into the boat and onto my lap-- Now me having to pee became a much bigger issue!! We had to abandon ship shortly after this-- or else I would have added to the water in the bottom of the boat!!

All in all the Maiden Voyage of the RAFT was a wonderful trip! I plan on spending many more evenings rowing Chet around the pond!!
