Reunion Time

Ooh I am behind--I apologize!

2 weeks ago we went to File for Chet's family reunion (his mother's side of the family!)

The day was beautiful-- but it started out-- well bad!
We wanted to ride with Dave and Verena to Filer-- so we needed to leave the house by around ooh 7:00 a.m.-- now that doesn't sound that early -- but to get me and Porter and Chet out the door-- it was going to be a task-- Not to mention -- when we sleep in until 7:00 oops!! 
The night before I had put Porter's cute cute clothes I wanted him to wear-- by his changing table-- so when he got up-- he could just get dressed and be off!
Well Porter never woke up- we ended up grabbing him out of his crib-- and away we went-- so to say the least-- I forgot his clothes-- OOh my!

so we pulled into Pocatello-- late- and I needed to run to Walmart and get the baby something to wear-- not that he would realy need it -- as you'll see later!

The ride was beautiful-- Porter did great- he woke up around Masacre Rock Rest Stop-- so we stopped to change him out of jammies and the stink that the car was filling up with!


Porter loved having Verena's full attention for the next little while! she played all sorts of games with him-- he just soaked it up!

But by the time we hit Twin Falls-- he had been in the car seat long enough and wanted out--!!

The reunion was well attended-- I thought-- at the Filer Park-- !  I haven't been around that side of the family much -- so I had to keep asking Verena -- whose that-- she was happy to fill me in!!

Toward the end of the day -- Porter had enough-- his nap was short- and it was hot--

Porter loved the Frog ride-- but it was a big stretch for his little legs-- saddle sore are we-- fatty frog!

So we stripped him naked- and his whole attitude changed!  He loves to be naked- and thought nothing of peeing on Michelle's foot-- sorry Michelle! 

There is Mr. Cool again!

Porter with Jamie and Syd-- Porter was being the watermelon vacuum!!

Verena with her grandma-- Porter's Great Great Grandma--she was great-- and took Porter for a ride on her walker! Porter thought he should drive and tried to bail off!!

Isn't family great!!!

Syd is just too dang cute--i could have just eaten him up!  Him and Porter got along ok-- and here Porter is eating--I am sure-- what was supposed to be Syd's watermelon-- oh well huh!
